There really isn't a lot going on right now. We are in a holding pattern here at the Eveland house. Just waiting for everything on our home loan to finish up so we can move into our new house. Hey, here's something cool. One of our new neighbors, I use to work with at Placement Pros. She was the Admin Assistant in the Bakersfield branch. She doesn't work their anymore either. We're just waiting...

Girl Scout Cookies
So, it's that time of year again - Girl Scout Cookies!!! My favorites are Samoas. The carmel and coconut goodness with the squiggle chocolate lines on top. Thankfully, they only come out once a year or I would be in big trouble.
I ordered my cookies this year and limited myself to one box of the Samoas because they are such a hazzard. I got my coveted purple box yesterday and I am very sorry to report - they are all gone! I ate 16 cookies in 2 days (not even 2 full days it's only 11:00 in the morning!!) I was reading the box and do feel a little better about myself because -
"with a Girl Scout Cookie I can build:
- Strong Values
- Strong Minds
- Strong Bodies
- Strong Spirit
- Strong Friendships
- Strong Skills
- Strong Leadership
- Strong Community"

Arrrg...Sick Kids
Alanna, my darling daughter, is sick. She has been getting hives for about the last 2 weeks. Every time she broke out it was getting worse, more spots over more of her body. On Tuesday they spread to her face and she was vomiting. We rushed her to the Doctor. They don't know what's causing it. They sent us in for a bunch of blood test (4 tubes!) and some other tests. We get results on Friday but till they know what's going on, Alanna cannot be around other kids. She can't go to school so, I'm stay at home mom for the week. Once again, much props to stay at home moms it's a much tougher job than going to work everyday.
